
I've been installing a new exhibit of my work in the River Arts District at The Wedge - 129 Roberts Street entrance. This is a giant grid of my small 9" x 9" photos. Perfect for small spaces.
I'll probably be there playing a little hammered mbira music this Saturday afternoon as part of Collect Art Asheville: Open Studios and events in Western North Carolina on the Second Saturday of each month.
The rain is really coming down in Asheville today. A great day for a nap, a book and a cup of tea. By the way, the Book Rest is by Lucile Stephens, an artist at Constance Williams Gallery in the River Arts District.
Mary Farmer has been teaching an encaustic class at Constance Williams Gallery this week. I stopped by and was immediately greeted by this crossover from last week's food theme. The skillet o' wax just reminded me of fried eggs.
